Zions/ St George days 1 and 2

This week Spencer, Collin, and I are taking a vacation to St George and Zions!
So far we are having a blast!! When we arrived in St George on Monday we decided to just relax. We went to dinner and shopped around then went back to our hotel for some swim time. This was Collins first time in a swimming pool. Before we suited up Spencer let Collin test out the water!

By the time we put on our swim suits it was already dark, but it was still so hot outside the pool felt great! Collin wasn't too sure about the water at first, but he warmed up pretty quick and I think he really enjoyed himself. Its funny because even thought he is still so young he's very observant and loves to be a "big boy" and be doing everything that we are doing so he decided that sense we were enjoying ourselves then he could too!

DAY 2- We hiked the narrows on day two and Collin was all suited up for the hike. He didn't know what was going on, but he was excited!

On the trail to the narrows!

Once we got to the river Spencer took over carrying Collin. Collin was such a trooper! He loved taking in all the beautiful scenery and chillin' in his front pack! (no joke 2 out of every 3 people made a comment about baby Collin! He was the star of the show!)

This is the deepest part of the river and its pretty close to the start of the hike, but in the hot temperature it was actually refreshing! Spencer held his bag and Collin up out of the water and Collin was just staring over Spencer's shoulder at me! Too cute for words!

There are no words to describe how beautiful it is in there! pictures just do not do it justice!

Lunch time!

Spencer decided he needed to jump in the river on our way down the hike to cool off and refresh himself!

Spence pointing to the rock he jumped off

Our little adventurer was pooped from the long day of fun!

The view from the shuttle's roof window. It was just beautiful no matter where you looked!
At the top of our hike we took a short video to try and capture the beauty!
